This position is a key role to drive the product lifecycle through design, development, and implementation across the organization in addition to leading the teams. In this role you will lead the positioning, pricing and go to market and product development backlog of the product portfolio within the team.blue group and align this with the regional brands in every market.
You will manage our product managers, UX designers and product owners directly, and lead indirectly all business owners to achieve the goals with the product. Furthermore, you will provide product and management mentorship to technical leads and developers and other business owners within the group. Act as the face and ambassador for the product within the group.
Lead and direct projects requiring functional integration across the organization
Define and implement the product strategy in close collaboration with the business partners in sales and marketing, technology, finance and operations
Identify risks and mitigation strategies
Set and reach the targets as Product P&L owner
Lead the alignment on all product matters with the appropriate people from across the company
Represent the unit and team to the other functions and customers.
Organize multiple teams, leads production processes to ensure all teams have the resources they require and oversee a product's life cycle.
Conduct research for new products, design concepts and product enhancements.
Collaborate with team members to evaluate the practicality of ideas and eventually develop them into reliable, sellable products.
Rely on experience with past product concepts and management skills to plan and evaluate team´s goals.
Understand how to operate independently and exercises proper judgment on new ideas and development plans.
Lead the department in accomplishing its product-related goals.
Suggest changes to an initial product's design for cost, efficiency or purposes.
Review past product solutions and current strategies that the team proposes.
Communicate efficiently with the team members and stakeholders. Update stakeholders to keep them informed on its progress. Organize meetings, answer questions and elaborate on any product details when requested.
Understand how to clearly describe the changing nature of a product and any features or enhancements a team may add to a product.
Understand its entire life cycle and fosters its marketability through each phase.
Gather and consider implementing product feedback. Understands how to develop new features based on customer opinions and the optimal time to release a new edition of an existing product. Comprehends how to selectively choose proper feedback, rather than making changes in consideration of each customer's opinion.
Understand how to create a product with successful marketing strategies that can sell effectively to the business´s target audience.
Required skills and experience
Proven knowledge in product management of VPS and/or Email and Office products within the hosting industry with best-in-class companies.
10+ years of progressive product management experience with day-to-day operations within technology / technology services
Comfortable managing employees who have different technical skills sets and tasks than your own technical background and expertise
Successfully coordinate large initiatives which span across Product teams
Sets the standard on product KPI reporting, documentation and product effectiveness
Large driver behind team.blue ’s long term product vision and strategy
Strong verbal and written presentation skills, and ability to communicate fluently in English (spoken & written).
