Position Overview
We are building a new Excellence Center in Lisbon (Portugal) to support our recent acquired (SaaS) companies and future acquisitions. The Excellence Center in Lisbon will support HR, Finance and other functions. The company is currently implementing a new ERP tool (NetSuite) and reviewing the current processes to improve and automate our Finance operations.
We are seeking a Finance System Product Owner to join our team to support the new ERP System as well the linkage with that ERP System and other (heavy data generating) systems, like Billing and Cash tools. The ideal candidate will have strong business and technical in ERP System integration ideally in an International Finance Organisation, Excellence Center or Shared Service Center setup. The ideal candidate has the experience to be able to work hands-on, contribute to the setup of new Center as well is highly motivated to contribute to Continues Process Improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Key contributor in the implementation of the new ERP System including the transition of existing businesses and the on-boarding of future acquisitions as required.
- Provide first line support to the Excellent Center members that are using our newly rolled out ERP System and connection with several Billing Platform and Data Warehouses, including trouble shooting user issues, resolving system errors, escalating complex issues to stakeholders and work with internal and external experts on this.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team to gather requirements, resolves issue and improve the functionality of the systems., including the creation and updating of the overall Finance Systems Roadmap.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including user guides and training.
- Assist with special projects and process improvement projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Must haves:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or other related
- Min. 5 year experience in Business Systems, IT, Finance (ideally combined)
- Relevant experience and track record in an international Finance environment/Share Service Center setup.
- Excellent communication skills for both Business and Technical subjects at all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
Desired:
- Chartered Accountant
- 5 years NetSuite implementation & Operation in complex global content
- Qualification in Business Process Improvements such as Lean Six Sigma etc.
- Fluent in at least one other European Language
