Responsibilities
As an SEO Specialist, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Conducting comprehensive SEO audits (technical, on-page, off-page, content, backlinks) and providing actionable recommendations to enhance site crawling, ranking, and organic traffic.
- Provide advanced SEO strategy going above and beyond the usual recommendations from the audits.
- Defining and coordinating SEO roadmaps in collaboration with local teams.
- Executing initiatives to boost visibility, traffic, and conversions through SEO strategies.
- Providing regular updates on project status, timelines, and results to team members and senior management.
- Leading and nurturing the group SEO community by sharing best practices, conducting training sessions, and providing regular SEO updates.
- Staying informed about the latest SEO industry changes and identifying opportunities for new projects.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- More than 5 years of SEO experience, preferably in an international environment.
- Strong experience having full ownership in designing and implementing SEO strategies.
- Proficiency in conducting SEO audits for non-English websites.
- Abilitly to think “outside of the box” in order to provide advanced SEO recommendations.
- Proven success in a similar SEO leadership or consulting role.
- Extensive knowledge of all aspects of SEO (technical, content, outreach).
- Fluent in English; additional EU languages are a plus.
- Expertise in using SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Majestic, etc.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal reporting lines.
- Data-oriented mindset, ensuring all decisions are data-driven.
