In this exciting role, you will work closely with the Group Internal Communication Team, supporting internal campaigns and strategic communication efforts that drive employee engagement and align with our organizational goals.

Your team

In this dynamic role, you will collaborate closely with our small but mighty Group Internal Communication Team, consisting of three passionate communicators who genuinely love what they do. We're a fresh team that enjoys diving deep into conversations (sometimes debates) about the best communication approaches. If you're the kind of person who enjoys brainstorming over coffee and isn't afraid to throw in an idea or two, you'll fit right in.

Key responsibilities

As part of your role, you’ll take on various key supporting responsibilities that are integral to our internal communication strategy. You will work on the following focus areas:

• Support content creation: Help create and coordinate engaging and relevant content for various internal communication channels, including newsletters, intranet, emails, videos, and presentations.
• Support internal campaign management: Collaborate on the planning, and rollout of internal communication campaigns that resonate with employees and drive engagement.
• Event support: Assist in organizing and executing internal events such as town halls, and other key internal activities, ensuring smooth communication before, during, and after the events.
• Coordinate with the communications community: Support the coordination and collaboration with the broader communications community across the team.blue network to ensure alignment & improve implementation.

Required skills and experience

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s student in a relevant field.
• A keen interest in Internal Communications.
• Familiarity with communications platforms.
• Familiarity with video editing and graphic design is a plus.
• Skilled in PowerPoint, with the ability to create engaging presentations.
• Proactive with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
• Eager to learn and expand your skill set.
• Creative and ready to think outside the box.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Location

• You are based in Belgium, near Ghent.
• You are able to come to our Ghent office at least 2 times/week.
• Important note: our Ghent office (Skaldenstraat 121, 9042 Ghent) is difficult to reach by public transport.
