Position
We are looking for a talented and driven Legal Counsel to join Sweden’s largest and most ambitious web service and hosting business dedicated to sustainability and green hosting. With a solid foothold in the Nordics and Central Eastern Europe (CEE), countries such as Sweden, Finland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Serbia will be the relevant areas of business under the Legal Counsel’s responsibility.
Through a portfolio of robust local brands (Loopia, Websupport, Hostingpalvelu, Domainhotelli, and Active24) that provide digital presence solutions, you’ll have the opportunity to work on high-impact legal matters that shape the future of digital services.
Responsibilities
- Advise on commercial contracts including internal and external client contracts, NDAs, supplier contracts, general terms & conditions, and other commercial agreements for the relevant area of business. This will include reviewing, revising, drafting and negotiating all contracts and other legal issues in accordance with applicable local laws and company policies;
- Handle corporate legal & (to a certain extent) HR matters for the relevant area of business, including corporate housekeeping of the relevant area legal entities and (in cooperation with the HR partners) labour law matters in given jurisdictions;
- Provide advice on legal and compliance risks and proposals for mitigating actions in connection with commercial contracts, customer disputes and support to sales staff as required;
- Provide support to the General Counsel for PaaS division and other departments in connection with reviewing, and revising contracts and associated documentation for HR, Sales, Marketing, Compliance, Facilities and Finance, as required;
- Provide support to M&A Legal on your relevant area M&A cases and intragroup restructuring, both on deal and integration side;
- Provide support to the Group Privacy Officer for GDPR matters and cooperate in order to ensure GDPR compliance for the relevant area legal entities;
- Coordinate external counsels supporting you in the relevant area of business;
- Assist in ensuring legal, compliance and ESG commitments are fulfilled;
- Work on group projects in line with your capabilities and aspirations.
Ideal Candidate
- Swedish degree in Law;
- 5 years of experience in a business and international environment focused on commercial and corporate law (privacy and labour law are a plus);
- Strong time management, prioritization and organization skills;
- Self-managed, proactive (asks questions and takes initiative), and easy to consult with stakeholders;
- Able to efficiently manage external consultants and coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders;
- Excellent verbal and written Swedish and English communication skills;
- Ability to provide pragmatic and commercially focused legal advice.
Team
You will report to our General Counsel for PaaS division based in Italy, serving as the liaison between him and the Swedish organization, as well as other relevant business areas. As part of a close-knit team of legal professionals, you will share group responsibilities alongside regional or local duties, and there may be future opportunities for you to take on additional group responsibilities.

Workplace
Flexible/smartworking will be possible, but you will be required to work 3 days at our Stockholm office.
