Position
For our head office in Ghent, we are looking for an HRBP to execute our HR strategy, playing a key role in enabling the achievement of our business objectives by:
- Coordinating the translation of the group HR strategy to their respective business area, advising on and executing HR policies & procedures and processes, in close collaboration with the organization's leaders and the group HR team;
- Managing HR processes across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with diverse local legislation and regulations in each region;
- Supporting the organization's leaders in driving team engagement and performance and development within the diverse company landscape;
- Acting as a visible partner to the business, a central point of contact for leaders to address operational and tactical HR needs including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, internal communications, talent management, total rewards (including payroll) and employee administration;
- Delivering an excellent employee experience and building a company where people love to work and thrive;
- Supporting about 100+ employees divided in multiple European countries.
This position will be based in Ghent, Belgium, and will report to the Head of HR – Presence Division.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with the HR team to champion and accelerate a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired;
- Executing key HR initiatives, including workforce planning, talent management, pay and reward, employee relations, employee engagement and performance management in line with the Group HR strategy;
- Acting as the point of contact for leaders providing expert advice, guidance and coaching in all aspects of HR;
- Implementing HR solutions and policies to help the business area deliver its strategy;
- Providing professional legal advice to the business on legal issues (e.g. disciplinary, organisational change, employment legislation);
- Ensuring an excellent employee experience from onboarding to further growing and developing in the organisation;
- Overseeing the processing of monthly payroll for employees across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local legislation and company policies;
- Administering employment contracts and maintaining the HRIS to ensure accurate employee data.
Profile
- Master level in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field;
- 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner within an international (matrix)profit organization;
- Experienced in international labour law;
- Results-oriented with a positive attitude;
- Flexible, customer-oriented attitude with strong interpersonal skills;
- Self-starter and entrepreneurial personality, committed and honest;
- Analytical and problem-solving thinking, with a strong hands-on mentality;
- Committed to building a diverse, inclusive work environment;
- Good cultural and organizational sensitivity
- Advanced English skills (Dutch is a plus).
