About the Role
As the Group Social Media Manager, you will play a critical role in driving engagement
across multiple social media platforms for both group channels and key regional/brand
channels. You will be responsible for creating and executing innovative social media
initiatives that support business objectives, engage our target audience, increase and
customer acquisition.
This role requires a strong expertise in social media trends, best practices, and a data-driven approach to campaign optimization as well as excellent communication skills
with both external and internal audiences.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute global social media strategies across key platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok) aligned with overall marketing and business objectives.
• Own and manage the company's global social media channels, ensuring consistent brand messaging and engaging content.
• Collaborate closely with regional marketing and product teams to support their social media efforts, providing guidance, best practices, and resources.
• Develop and implement social media campaigns to drive engagement, website traffic, and customer acquisition.
• Work with a data analyst to monitor and analyze social media performance, track key metrics (e.g., reach, engagement, conversions), and generate regular reports.
• Stay abreast of the latest social media trends, best practices, and emerging technologies (e.g., AI-powered tools, social commerce) and share learnings across the group.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align and integrate campaigns.
• Manage social media budgets across organic and paid activities, optimizing spend for maximum ROI.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry influencers and media partners.
• Support compliance and adherence to social media best practices and guidelines.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in social media marketing, with a proven track record of success in driving measurable results.
• Experience managing Social Media across various regions and formats.
• Experience in B2B or D2C social media marketing is essential.
• Fluency in English and an additional European language is required. Dutch or Italian is highly valued.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
• Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer).
• Excellent analytical and data analysis skills with the ability to track, measure, and report on performance.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative thinker with a passion for social media and a strong understanding of digital trends.
