Position
As a Post-Merger Integration Project Manager, it’s your mission to empower the companies and teams that join team.blue by allowing them to focus on growing their business, delivering an excellent onboarding experience to team.blue and leveraging our experience, functional specialists and best-in-class tools.
You’re responsible for overseeing and coordinating the end-to-end acquisition and integration process of target companies from a functional integration and value creation point of view, starting from the initial assessment of the integration plan down to the execution of all operational action plans.
In addition, you also contribute to maintaining process assets and standards in tight collaboration with related group functions.
Responsibilities
- Integration team coordination: Once the due diligence process starts for an assigned target company, ensures all integration team members perform their functional assessment using pre-defined checklists, questions and team.blue standards;
- Integration and value creation plans consolidation and elicitation: Creates and maintains the overall integration and value creation plan. Ensure all actions are sufficiently detailed and that realistic timing and staffing assumptions (who does it by when) are taken;
- Post-acquisition monitoring and reporting: Monitor the execution of value creation and integration plans, including synergies realisation, by engaging with all stakeholders. Prepares regular project reviews and monthly reporting material for senior management reviews;
- Process tooling and continuous improvement: Use selected project management tools (Jira and Confluence) and the framework around them. Implement continuous improvement actions in the PMI end-to-end process, including automation tools. Update, maintain and communicate the process’s assets (playbook, templates, checklists);
- Standards definition, publication and maintenance: Support the continuous definition, documentation, publication and updates of group standards to be applied by default to each coming acquisition as a base of discussion for their to-be situation post integration. Standards can be systems, processes, organizational setups, document templates, project templates, etc. approved internally as group policies or best practices.
Profile
- Between 3 to 7 years of experience in project management, ideally in diverse cross-functional environments with a track record of on-time, on-quality, on-budget delivery;
- Experience in PMI is a plus;
- Project management certifications such as PMP are a plus;
- Experience in driving change in complex environments while maintaining healthy and productive relationships with all stakeholders;
- Experience in using Jira/Confluence for monitoring and reporting is a plus;
- Relevant exposure to the context and drivers of several diverse corporate functions (Product, Marketing & Sales, Technology, Finance, HR, Legal, Data) and demonstrated ability to collaborate with them.
