Position
The Technical Project Manager - AI & Data plays a key role in planning and delivering AI/ML, Data & BI projects across the organization. This role sits at the intersection of technical teams and business stakeholders, working to drive maximum organizational impact. Working closely with AI engineers, Data scientists, engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders, the Technical Project Manager brings structure, visibility, and coordination to cross-functional efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
Own the planning and execution of AI/ML, Data & BI projects, ensuring clear scope, timelines, and deliverables. Facilitate project meetings, monitor progress, manage risks and dependencies, and address blockers to keep initiatives on track.
Strategic Mediation & Two-Way Translation
Work at the intersection of technical teams and business stakeholders to drive maximum organizational impact. Translate technical realities, constraints, and opportunities to business leadership to enable informed decision-making. Simultaneously, bring business context, strategic priorities, and customer challenges to the technical team so they understand the 'why' and can contribute strategically.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Facilitate collaboration across the AI and Data teams, engineering, tech and business teams. Ensure roles and responsibilities are clear, meetings are effective, and communication is streamlined. You'll operate across multiple European markets and business types, working with product teams, engineering organizations, business units with different priorities, C-suite executives, and technical specialists who all see the world differently. Synthesize competing perspectives into coherent strategy and execution.
Tracking & Reporting
Maintain up-to-date project documentation and timelines. Provide regular status updates, surface risks, and support preparation of briefings and reports for leadership.
Operational Support
Contribute to the development of delivery frameworks, templates, and planning processes for the AI & Data function. Support quarterly planning, resource coordination, and standardization of reporting practices.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in technical project management and/or AI product development, preferably in tech, data, or AI environments.
Strong background in AI/ML and Data with proven technical knowledge of AI/ML & Data lifecycle and an ability to learn new technical domains.
Experience managing complex multi-country projects with proven ability to manage timelines, stakeholders, and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
Preferred Experience
Experience managing projects specifically in AI/ML, data, or analytics environments. Examples include: leading delivery of machine learning model development initiatives, managing data platform or data infrastructure projects, coordinating analytics or BI implementations, or overseeing AI product development cycles. This exposure helps you understand the unique challenges of these domains - experimentation uncertainty, infrastructure complexity, cross-team dependencies - without requiring a technical engineering background.
Experience supporting program operations such as planning cycles, reporting, or process improvement.

Articulate technical constraints, tradeoffs, and opportunities to business leadership to support informed decision-making. Help the technical team understand business context, priorities, and customer challenges so they can make decisions that serve both technical excellence and business outcomes. Create clarity around the 'why' behind initiatives, enabling the team to contribute strategically rather than just execute.
