Position
team.blue is growing extensively and aims to be the most loved online service provider in our local markets. We are expanding our presence in Budapest and Bratislava and are looking for an HR Business Partner to play a key role in enabling the achievement of our business objectives in these locations.
We are seeking an HRBP to execute our HR strategy and support our teams in Budapest and Bratislava, as we continue to develop our operations in this dynamic market. The HRBP coordinates the translation of the group HR strategy, advises on and executes HR policies, procedures, and processes, in close collaboration with the group HR team. This role involves managing HR processes in Hungary and Slovakia, ensuring compliance with local legislation and regulations, whilst maintaining alignment with group-wide HR standards.
The HRBP will report to the Group HRBP and will be responsible for delivering an excellent employee experience and for building a company where people love to work and thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating with the HR team to champion and accelerate a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired.
- Executing on key HR initiatives, including workforce planning, talent management, pay and reward, employee relations, employee engagement, and performance management in line with the Group HR strategy.
- Acting as a point of contact for local leaders, providing expert advice, guidance, and coaching in all aspects of HR.
- Implementing HR solutions and policies to help the business area deliver its strategy.
- Providing professional advice to the business on HR and legal matters (e.g. disciplinary, organisational change, employment legislation) in compliance with Hungarian and Slovakian labour law.
- Ensuring an excellent employee experience from onboarding to further growing and developing in the organisation.
- Coordinating the processing of monthly payroll, ensuring compliance with local legislation and company policies.
- Administering employment contracts and maintaining the HRIS to ensure accurate employee data.
- Supporting the implementation of Group-level HR projects locally, ensuring alignment with business needs and effective execution.
- Contributing to organizational development activities to support business goals.
Profile
- Master level in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner within an international (matrix) organization.
- Knowledge of Hungarian labour law and HR practices; knowledge of Slovakian labour law is a plus.
- Experience in fast-paced, growing environments with the ability to adapt to change.
- Results-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Flexible, customer-oriented attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter and entrepreneurial personality, committed and honest.
- Analytical and problem-solving thinking, with a strong hands-on mentality.
- Committed to building a diverse, inclusive work environment.
- Good cultural and organizational sensitivity.
- Excellent English and Hungarian skills; Slovakian language skills are a strong advantage.
