SaaS Legal Counsel

Role:
As SaaS counsel you will:
- together with group legal experts, implement defined legal standards in a harmonized and coherent way across a cluster of SaaS brands in different EU countries
- be the legal SPOC for a cluster of SaaS brands and support them on strategic legal projects, increasing their legal maturity and awareness
- improve legal processes by sharing best practices among SaaS brands and within the legal team
- provide first line legal support and legal advise to a cluster of SaaS brands
- liaise and coordinate with group legal experts and outside counsel for second line legal support and legal advise
- drive the post-closing legal integration of new SaaS acquisitions
- act as corporate secretary for SaaS brands within your cluster
- identify and implement relevant upcoming regulations within your cluster
- support cross-sell activities involving relevant SaaS brands
Profile:
You:
- have at least 5 years of experience as a lawyer, including at least a first in-house experience
- have experience working as a legal counsel within a startup or scaleup environment
- are fluent in English, both verbal and in writing
- are a problem solver
- are keen to develop your project management skills, dealing with multiple stakeholders
- are both analytical and pragmatic
- are well-organised and a self-starter
- have an open mind, broad interests and enjoy working with people from different backgrounds
- actively consult with your colleagues, take initiative and ask questions
