Linux Systems Engineer

The Tooling team maintains a set of tools and services, used by the infra/ops and software dev teams.
This includes platforms such as:
Gitlab
Harbor (container registry)
Monitoring suite: Nagios, Thruk, SNClient
Grafana
Sentry
HCP Vault
Opensearch
We are looking for someone to set-up and maintain these environments, together with the existing Tooling team.
You will be at the base of deploying, improving and securely hosting these platforms.
Key responsibilities
Deploy new tools, with a focus on automation and security
Maintain and update existing environments; proactively troubleshoot issues
Help out with operational inquiries from colleagues
Suggest and implement improvements
Research, test, and recommend new technologies to improve our set of tools and workflows
Skills and experience
Solid knowledge of Linux distributions (ideally Debian/AlmaLinux) and their core components (iptables, systemd, kernel, unix tools)
Hands-on experience with popular open-source technologies such as Apache, Nginx, HAProxy, Docker, Git Familiar with configuration management tools (Ansible)
Skilled in scripting (Go, Python, PHP and a pinch of Perl)
Basic networking knowledge
Passionate about technology, eager to learn, and always curious
You are proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented—able to take ownership and work independently in a dynamic environment
Strong focus on security
Good English communication skills, both written and verbal
