We’re looking for an IT leader to head our Operations teams, guiding several teams, have a commercial outlook and bridge local operations with team.blue’s global tech strategy.
Role & responsibilities
As Operations Director in team.blue Denmark, you’ll be overall responsible for 40+ skilled colleagues (4 direct reports) who keep our business running every day, as well as the platforms we operate.
Your job is to make sure our IT foundation is strong, secure, and ready for the future. That means overseeing that daily operations are running smoothly in our operations teams, while also driving forward initiatives that improve our customers' operational experiences.
You’ll be part of the Danish Senior Leadership Team, working side by side with other business leaders, and you’ll report to the Operations Director, Technology (Group).
Your role will be less technical, and more leadership-oriented, backed by a group of skilled technical teams.
You will also act as the primary technology ambassador for team.blue Denmark, representing our technical capabilities to major clients, partners, and at industry events.
Leadership, strategy and daily operations
Advise the Danish leadership on emerging technologies in alignment with Group relevant to the organization’s goals.
Set a clear direction for Operations in Denmark in cooperation with team leads for each area and aligned with team.blue’s global strategy.
Partner with Commercial teams on enterprise sales opportunities, joining customer negotiations to validate technical feasibility, commit to SLAs and build credibility with customers' technical stakeholders.
Manage budgets and make sure investments in technology deliver measurable value.
Ensure best practices in technical decision-making and maintain a high standard of excellence.
Monitor IT projects to ensure proper planning, staffing, and reporting.
Maintain and develop effective processes across teams in collaboration with team leads and key stakeholders.
Maintain compliance with relevant standards (e.g. ISAE3402, ISO27001, NIS2).
Team development
Support in building and retaining strong teams of IT professionals in collaboration with team leads.
Create an environment where people are motivated, accountable, and able to grow.
Mentor and support your managers and specialists so the whole team performs at its best.
Foster local and international collaboration across technology teams.
What we’re looking for
· 7+ years of IT leadership experience across several functions.
· Experience leading IT in a multi-country environment, ideally within the technology industry. Preferably experience from a larger multi-brand enterprise/service provider company.
· Proven track record driving digital transformations.
· Strategic mindset with the ability to align IT vision to business goals.
· Strong leadership skills, with a focus on development and teamwork.
· Skilled at collaborating with diverse leaders.
· Strong customer-facing communication skills with ability to present technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders in Danish and English
· Strong understanding of IT security principles and experience working with security teams.
· Solid knowledge of compliance and certifications.
· Has or can obtain HEM approval.
· Excellent language skills in both Danish and English.
